A play between an airy, light form and a "lead" heavy material. This lends the piece its indefinable quality.
The lead unit can be used as a television and/or hi-fi unit. The television can be placed on the piece and the video and/or hi-fi units can be fitted into the openings. The openings can also be used as racks for books, magazines, CDs;
Lead is a soft material and so deforms easily. Lead oxidises and the oxide layer that forms on it is toxic.
We therefore recommend that you wash your hands if you have been touching the unit a lot.
On the other hand, the lead quickly acquires a beautiful patina. Use and time quickly leave their mark.
